ABOUT US


    Devighat Senior Citizen Protection and Study Foundation (DSCF Nepal) was the result of endeavors of social workers of Nuwakot district. The dream of a senior citizen care foundation materialized after their efforts of several years. Now, there is a Working Committee consisting of 27 persons. Besides, there are Advisory Committee to provide consultation and guidance and a Construction Committee to look after the task of building construction activities.

    The office bearers of the Working Committee, Advisory Committee and Construction Committee are as mentioned below.

Working Committee

Construction Committee

Members- Govinda Chitrakar, Bharat Prasad Pudasaini, Binda Aryal and Dambar Kumar iBhatta.

    In January 2012,the DSCF Nepal had organized a religious and cultural activity (Mahayagya) intended to help willing persons to participate in this function and also for fund raising for the foundation to construct buildings for Senior Citizen/Retirement Home at Devighat. Many persons have made commitment for donations. Among them, 78 persons have committed to donate Nepali Rs three hundred thousand or above. Swami Shree Kamalanayanacharya, the Muktinath Pithadhish, laid the foundation stone of the main building in October 01, 2012 on the occasion of International Senior Citizen's Day at Devighat. During the previous fiscal year, the DSCF Nepal received grant of half a million Nepali Rupees from the Government for Nepal and Rupees 850,000 from the parliament member's local development fund.
